Question for you. If you can remember, who were the first three people who supported you at the beginning of your awakening journey? Who were those people you met after you woke up, and who, through their work, supported you or gave you some tidbits that helped you run along this path that has now brought you to this point of your life? Who were these people? Do you remember?
If you can't remember the first three, who was the first person who really helped you at that point when you were searching, when you were excited, when you knew that something was happening and you wanted to know more? Who was that first person, and what was that experience about? Were you looking for healing? I know many of us in the beginning were looking for healing. At least I know I was. I was like down in the dumps at that time, and in those years I was so depressed, and I was so ready for healing. So my first three people were healers of different kinds. Anyway, who were your first three people?
And the reason I'm asking about this is because the other day I was thinking about when we were born, there are certain people who come into our life experience, and they help us along the journey until we get on our feet and we're ready to fly. And I was thinking about my awakening journey, which I'm so grateful for, like I know many of us are, or many of you are as well. I was thinking about how certain people come into our lives and they impact us so strongly, and they help to push us along further into our journeys, until now we are the people that we are because of people who we met along the way, who planted seeds or gave us some kind of support that helped us along our path.
Anyway, I'm just so grateful for all these people, because sometimes people just underestimate the power and the impact that people have in our lives, especially in those foundational stages. There's certain people who have just come into our lives and they've transformed us through their wisdom or through their knowledge or through their information, and that kind of information has helped us really move and become the people that we are. And these people, most of them will never, ever know how much they impacted us.
And so I was thinking to myself, maybe I need to reach out to certain people and just thank them for the impact that they really made in my life. And so I was just kind of Googling to see, okay, what happened to that person? What happened to that person? What happened to that person? So I could send the first three people an email of just gratitude and thanksgiving. The other day was Mother's Day, and I was just thinking, these people are like our mothers. They're like our parents in the beginning, the people who were around us when we were born and who helped us along.
So I was like, okay, so who were the first people in my life? So I got to thinking. And sometimes memory fades and you're like, okay, so what happened when I woke up? Who was the first person who gave me a little muscle and I ran with that muscle, or helped me in my healing process? And for me, there was a Reiki teacher. And in those days when I first woke up, I had just come from this religious kind of background, this Bible-thumping kind of background, and I had completely kind of ended it at that point, and I was just looking for something new. I had been so, so depressed for so, so long. So I was just looking for an option.
And through some serendipitous occasion, I ended up bumping into this Reiki healer at some metaphysical place, which I don't even know how I got there. I was so curious. I remember just going into that place and thinking, oh my gosh, I might be going straight to hell for this, because I had just come from that background. And I was just so curious to see what else was there. Something was drawing me to attend that metaphysical event.
And so when I went there, I saw these people who were standing around a place where they had these singing bowls, and I had never had such beautiful, beautiful melodies, that meditation music, and they had these Tibetan singing bowls at that time. And this woman was standing there dressed in a certain kind of robe, and it was so silky. And to me, she looked like an angel. I'm telling you, I was just like, who are these people? What is this music? It was just like opening my heart in so many interesting ways.
And I went to that woman and I asked her, what is this? And she explained to me that, well, this is Tibetan music. It's sound healing music. I'm a Reiki teacher and whatnot. I'm a Reiki healer. Would you be interested in a class? I was like, yeah, whatever that is. I don't even know what it is, but whatever it is that you guys are selling, I am in. I am gonna do this Reiki, whatever it is. And that was the beginning of my first teacher. And I had such an experience. She taught me how to love myself, and that was the first step.
So that woman really helped me open up in different ways. She introduced me to the energy healing aspect of things, and I am forever grateful for her. So that was my first teacher.
And then I met another one, and this woman was a shaman. I'm telling you, this woman had the most beautiful voice that I ever heard. I'm not even sure why every person that I used to meet sounded to me like an angel. She had this melodious, beautiful voice, and she was like, I'm a shaman. I'm like, oh my gosh, that sounds like, oh, what kind of thing is this? Like a shaman, like what is this? At that time I was like, who are these people? These things were so new to me, and I was like, shaman sounds like something dangerous. Maybe that is the thing that is good for me. I was ready to be rebellious and just leave behind all my Christian upbringing and my ideas and everything.
So she told me she was a shaman and she did soul retrievals. And because I was such a broken person at that time, I had so many issues, I was like, okay, whatever it is, let's do it. So she really helped me through the soul retrieval experience, and that really changed my life in a big way. So I don't know what happened to her. I tried to look for her. I don't see her anymore, but yeah.
Anyway, then there was a third person. And this person at that time was an herbalist who used to share about healing on YouTube. But interestingly, this person was the most foul-mouthed person that I ever saw, who had no qualms about just talking confidently about all kinds of sacrilegious things and just using the most incredible, quote-unquote, language. And I had never seen such a person, the confidence with which he was teaching, and insulting kind of whoever was standing in his way or did not believe in whatever it was that he believed in, or anyone who was at that time eating meat and whatnot.
And he had these really stringent beliefs about certain things, but he was talking about healing, healing your body using herbs and nature and whatnot. And I believed him, and I was like, this is what I need. I need to heal my body. I need to start eating right. I need to start cleansing my body and clearing my body. This is what this person is talking about. He has all these products and whatnot, and I am gonna be going in that direction because I think I need that.
So this person was talking about healing, he was talking about crystals actually in a way. And apart from my dreams, he's the first person who started talking to me about crystals in the physical. He used to talk about his crystals, about rose quartz. He loved rose quartz at that time. And I was just like, oh my gosh, you mean men also like crystals? What are these crystals? I had seen carnelian in my dream, and unakite in my dream, in the beginning, just before I understood anything about crystals. Those are my first crystals that showed up for me in my dream.
But now this guy was talking about rose quartz, and he was talking about them so lovingly. So I was intrigued. So that herbalist, that soul retrieval person, and the Reiki healer were my first three people, and I'm forever grateful for them, because they introduced me into this journey that helped me roll on until I am now the person that I have become. And I am just so grateful about this.
And so the question is, do you remember the first three people who introduced you to this path and this journey, or supported you along this process, that made an impact in your life that is so huge that now you are this person that you are? Do you remember them? Who are they? Let me know in the comment section. And until next time, let's continue being grateful.
I love you, bye.
