Do you have a poorly cut crystal that has a specific shape, but it just doesn't feel right? It just doesn't feel as though the energy in the crystal flows in the way that you want it to. Today, I just want to touch on this subject of crystals that have been factory cut or crystals that have been artificially cut, and check with you guys to see if they affect you as much as they affect me.
I just want to put it out there, so that you can kind of talk me down if I'm way too much on this subject. But I want to hear your opinion, because sometimes I just feel so weirded out when I see some of these factory-made crystals. And maybe it's just me or whatever. But let's see what you guys think. Let me know in the comment section at some point what you feel about crystals that have been factory made or artificially cut, and especially the way they flow.
Okay, all right. As a person who loves to work with shapes and symbols and angles and numbers, I usually try to pick the crystals that I use really, really carefully. And at least 80% of the time, I tend to buy raw natural crystals that already have a beautiful natural shape and flow of energy to them, like these. But the other 20% of the time, I tend to get crystals that have been cut into geometric shapes, or crystals that have been cut into shapes of pyramids or obelisks or crystal skulls or spheres or the merkaba and so forth.
Anyway, the thing is this: I really have no problem with natural crystals, because their shapes are perfection. What I have an issue with sometimes is these machine-cut crystals. Oh my God, let me tell you, sometimes when I go crystal shopping or when I'm just looking at crystals online, I see some crystals that are so poorly cut that it just makes me feel so weird looking at the poor crystal babies.
Maybe it's just my OCD. Who knows, right? But some of these crystals are just so weird looking. They are not even cut with too much regard for the natural internal matrix of the crystal, which allows energy to flow in a particular direction. The stones are just placed on a machine and then cut, cut, cut into specific similar shapes and then sold in mass markets. Maybe some people don't mind, and it's okay. But for me, and especially for energy work, I want to use crystals. I want to work with crystals that have specific angles and specific qualities that make them optimal energy healing tools. The cut of the crystal has to flow. It has to resonate with me. It has to follow the internal matrix of the crystal.
Usually, if I see a crystal that looks like this, for example, let's just assume it's maybe an agate that has banding, or a crystal that you can see through, like a quartz, or maybe a fluorite crystal, like maybe this one here. But you can't really see the internal matrix of this crystal, but I can see it, right? Anyway, if it does look like something like this and I see the lines going in this particular direction, I just get so OCD about things like this, because the energy, to me, has to look like this. And this is, I think, something that's really common with the tiger's eye or something, like you can see a crystal skull and the lines are going in different directions, like diagonal and whatnot, and it just doesn't make sense.
For me, I'd rather the lines go in a straight angle like this and kind of make sense to me. Or if it's a crystal like this that has been cut in this shape, I prefer that the lines go straight and all the energy follows this internal matrix and comes off at the tip. Or I just prefer the lines to kind of look a particular way that makes sense to me in the way that I analyze the flow of energy moving.
If I see a crystal that looks like this, for example, or the lines are just kind of going in different directions, and I know that energy really moves from angles, I tend not to buy those crystals, because they just don't work for me. They're not really cut from the use of a specific consciousness or an awareness. They're just sort of cut without really thinking about who's going to be using these specific tools.
And I really wish that that could change. I really wish that those who cut these crystals, even in this manufactured or mass-produced situation, I wish that those who cut these crystals would really consider the consciousness of these crystal beings and cut them with some kind of awareness. And I know that there are some conscious people, some spiritual people, some very aware people who cut crystals according to the internal matrix of the crystal to allow the energy to flow. But I wish that everyone was like that. But that might be too much to ask, right? Hey, a girl can dream, right?
There's so many crystal lovers who are working with crystals for specific healing purposes, and we can't just take some of these things for granted. We have to pay attention to details. And of course, with spiritual things, we can choose to trust our intuition or to follow our inner guidance as to how to work with the spiritual tools that we have. However, as we wake up, the conscious awareness of how to work with certain spiritual tools and whatnot becomes really handy in this awakening journey.
Anyway, the thing is this: for me, my intuitive feel is that crystals that have been poorly cut do not have the same energetic feel or flow as crystals that are naturally formed in a particular shape, like, for example, double-terminated crystals. The way the energy flows in a naturally shaped or naturally formed double-terminated crystal is completely different from the way the energy would flow in a poorly cut, factory-made double-terminated crystal. Because if a crystal has been cut into the shape of a double-terminated crystal without paying any regard or having any respect for the internal matrix of that particular crystal, then the energy will not flow in the same way as it would in a natural form. So a natural double-terminated crystal, and things like that change the geometry of the crystal, and the misaligned matrices, they scatter and they diffuse the energy and just send it all over the place.
So if you're thinking the energy is going to be flowing in that way, it's not going to be flowing in that way, because the matrices have been interfered with. And maybe my reasoning is off, or my intuition is way off, or I'm just too OCD, and science may disagree with me, and that's fine. So what do you guys think, really, about crystals that do not have an aligned internal matrix? How do you guys feel when you're working with these types of crystals, and do you even notice? Let me know in the comments section, and please talk me down if you have to.
