Today I'm in the mood for love. So I'm going to be sharing at least seven or eight amazing crystal combinations for rose quartz, the love crystal, the crystal for self-love. If you have rose quartz, I'm sure you'll be interested to know what type of crystal combination to use with your rose quartz. I'm also going to be sharing one particular situation in which you might want to consider not combining rose quartz with any other crystal. So it's really going to be interesting. Keep listening. I'm sure some of you are wondering, rose quartz, I thought that we could use rose quartz for everything. Yeah, it could be. But in some cases, you just gotta slam on those brakes. Anyway, keep listening because it's going to be good. Okay.
Rose quartz lovers. We know that rose quartz is a very durable and strong stone. It helps us open up and be softer and gentler, and still be strong on the outside. What's interesting is that even though this crystal is pink and its color is soft, do not underestimate it and do not be deceived, because this crystal is powerful. It's a warming, active crystal which invigorates the blood, and the blood is our life force. This is a very powerful crystal that will open you right up.
There are some people who just lack warmth. They're always cold, always freezing. They lack physical warmth. Then there are also some people who lack emotional warmth. They're closed up because of whatever has been going on in their life. Maybe they have been grieving. Maybe there's a lot of sadness in their lives. Maybe there's been a lot of betrayals and whatnot that has caused them to close up. And rose quartz is a perfect crystal. It has been seen over and over again that many times after working with rose quartz, people just begin to open up to love. So rose quartz is actually a good crystal to give as a gift to someone who lacks warmth, because it really soothes their heart. It really helps with the grieving process. It helps people who are fearful. It's great for fostering all kinds of love and all kinds of relationships, relationships with self and relationships with others. It supports the process of forgiveness and compassion for self and for others. It's great for higher creativity. I really honestly cannot say enough about this magnificent crystal. So if you don't have rose quartz, you better get one. Okay.
So since I love rose quartz so much, I want to share with you some of my favorite rose quartz crystal combinations. These are based on my personal preferences, and I'd love it very much if you'd let me know in the comment section what your favorite type of rose quartz crystal combination is, and why you love that crystal combination. Because I believe the why around why we use certain crystal combinations is always a very important aspect to consider in the whole scheme of things. Okay. So with that said, let's go.
My first rose quartz crystal combination is a combination of, obviously, rose quartz and amethyst. These two crystals make a highly uplifting spiritual combination. Rose quartz is a heart chakra stone. It opens up the heart so that you can release the toxicity. When you open up your heart, you allow the uplifting, loving energies to come and flow through you. And amethyst, as we know, is a very uplifting upper chakra crystal. So this combination here just allows for spiritual love to come through. You cannot go wrong. Spiritual love coming through with amethyst and rose quartz. I love it. So that's my first rose quartz crystal combination: amethyst and rose quartz, higher spiritual love.
The second type of rose quartz crystal combination is a combination of rose quartz and smoky quartz. I love this combination just for the simple reason that rose quartz is a loving energy. It opens up the heart chakra. And when you combine rose quartz and smoky quartz, which is a great crystal that absorbs toxicities in the lower chakras, combining this rose quartz heart chakra loving energy with smoky quartz grounding energy is just a perfect way of grounding heart chakra loving energies in this physical realm. It's just a beautiful combination. Rose quartz and smoky quartz ground the love. Okay.
The third type of rose quartz crystal combination is a combination of rose quartz and rhodonite crystal. These are great heart chakra stones. Rhodonite is a very emotionally balancing crystal. It's great for the hormones. When your emotions are like all over the place, rhodonite is such a wonderful crystal for that. And the pink color in rhodonite crystal resonates so much with the heart chakra. And rose quartz obviously is a heart chakra crystal. So these two energies work well together when one has necklaces or pendants over the heart chakra, around this area here, which is referred to as the CV 17 area. These two crystals really make a fantastic combination for relationships with self and relationships with others. When you're using pink crystals as a combination and you have rose quartz, rose quartz should always be the crystal in the center, and then the other crystals can be on the left or the right side of it. So for example, if you have rose quartz and rhodonite, or another pink stone, rose quartz will be in the center. Rhodonite will be on the left side, and the other pink crystal, or whatever crystal you are combining it with, will be on the other side. So that's an example of how it works in a crystal combination for the heart chakra. Okay.
Another rose quartz crystal combination is a combination of rose quartz and black obsidian, or a combination of rose quartz and black tourmaline. Rose quartz is a crystal that is great for toning down the fire and the flames of a situation. So if you find yourself in any kind of situation that is inflamed, where it's heated, and where the heat is continuously rising, or where it's so painful and things are just going from bad to worse, to the point where you're closing up or acting in a way that really shuts you down, rose quartz is that type of crystal that can help to tone down the flames of that particular situation. So when you work with rose quartz and crystals like black obsidian or black tourmaline to control that situation, because we already know that black tourmaline and black obsidian are great for really absorbing toxic energies really quickly, these combinations of either rose quartz and black tourmaline or rose quartz and obsidian will really, really help you absorb that toxic energy and keep that inflammation down, or that situation that is inflamed down, really, really quickly, and it's going to be effective. So really consider these fantastic combinations when situations are hot. Okay.
The fifth type of rose quartz crystal combination is a combination of rose quartz and onyx. I really love this combination. Onyx is very shiny when you look at it, and that's one way you can tell. It has this shiny feel about it, or look about it. And I love this combination because onyx is a crystal that helps us express deeply held emotions, and sometimes we just want to express those things that are held deeply within. So onyx is good for that. At the same time, rose quartz is a crystal that is great for processing the emotions. So this combination is just powerful for processing and expressing emotions. Let's let those stuck emotions out. Rose quartz and onyx.
My seventh favorite rose quartz combination is a combination of rose quartz and green prehnite. Look at this beauty over here. Green prehnite is such a powerful crystal. It's a crystal that I highly recommend, especially for those who have experienced some traumatic things, or seen some traumatic things in their lifetime or in whatever kind of experience. If you want to get rid of that memory, that nasty, nasty memory, prehnite is a very, very good crystal for that. It's a crystal that cleans out that toxic memory and helps you to really remain in a good, calm, loving space where you really need to be. So it's a really great crystal for calming your spirit, calming that anxiety, and calming heart palpitations. Really think about using green prehnite. And when you combine the loving energies of rose quartz and green prehnite, I tell you, it's so, so healing. So I love this combination of rose quartz and green prehnite.
Okay, so now that we've talked about rose quartz combinations, under what circumstances should you not combine rose quartz with other crystals? Hmm. If you are someone who loves to drink crystal elixirs like this one here, this is my rose quartz crystal elixir, do not combine rose quartz with other crystals. Boom. That's it. You know how we like to mix all types of crystals in a crystal elixir? We'll put amethyst, we'll put aquamarine, and whatnot into a crystal elixir. Well, rose quartz is one of those crystals that I do not recommend mixing with other crystals in a crystal elixir combination, especially if you're using rose quartz to target a specific healing purpose, because rose quartz has many minerals within it, including aluminum, iron, manganese, titanium. So when you're using it to target a specific healing purpose, and you know what that thing is, all these different minerals that are leached into the crystal elixir can really distract or sabotage the targeted healing effort because of the mixed messages that are being sent into the body. However, if you do not have any specific healing strategy in place, you can still combine rose quartz and other crystals if you know what you're doing. And it's always, always, always good to have an understanding of why you are combining certain crystals. These days, I truly believe that that awareness is key, and we truly need to get with it, okay? So make your elixirs, but proceed with caution when it comes to rose quartz, okay?
